Most people need a lash fill every 2–3 weeks to keep their extensions looking full and balanced. In rare cases, some clients can stretch to 3½ to 4 weeks — but ideally, you don’t want to push past 3 weeks. As extensions grow out with your natural lashes, they can start to weigh on the lash if left too long, which may affect both lash health and the look.

You’ll also want to come in with at least 50% of your extensions left. By the time we remove the outgrown lashes, you’ll naturally have less than 50% remaining. If you come in with less than 50% to begin with, that’s when it’s considered a full set instead of a fill.

When applied correctly and cared for properly, lash extensions will not damage your natural lashes. Extensions are attached to each individual lash, not your skin, and are designed to shed naturally as your lashes go through their growth cycle. Damage only happens when extensions are applied incorrectly or when aftercare is not followed.

Mascara is not recommended with extensions — especially waterproof formulas — as it can break down the adhesive and cause clumping. The good news is, extensions are designed to give you that full, mascara-like effect without needing makeup.

Cleansing is a key part of keeping your lashes healthy and long-lasting. Use a lash-safe, oil-free cleanser and a soft brush to gently clean your lashes daily. This prevents buildup of oils, makeup, and debris that can weaken the adhesive bond.

Yes! Once your extensions have fully cured (about 24 hours after your appointment), you can swim, shower, and exercise as usual. Just be mindful of excessive heat and steam, which can weaken the adhesive over time.
